June 21 - July 16, 2021 (No class on July 5)

8:45 am-12:45 pm

Summer Session Enrollment Form

Newport-Mesa Unified School District Elementary Summer Session is a four-week instructional program (four hours per day) focusing on English Language Arts, English Language Development, and Mathematics to build strong readiness skills for the 2021-2022 school year. In addition to the academic program, students will participate in enrichment activities and social experiences with peers.

The priority enrollment process has been completed and the Summer Session enrollment is now open for additional students. Enrollment forms will be processed in the order received and students will be accepted based on space availability. Confirmation of acceptance will be sent via email within one week of the enrollment form submission.

Summer Session is June 21 - July 16, Monday through Friday, from 8:45 AM - 12:45 PM (no class on July 5). Students are expected to attend all 19 days of instruction. A student may be dropped from the program after three unexcused absences (in order to allow a student from the waiting list to attend). Summer Session is an in-person program and all current COVID-19 health and safety guidelines will be followed.

Summer Session will be available at multiple schools and with students assigned to a site based on home school site (see below). Transportation will be provided for students who are assigned to a Summer Session site other than their home school site.

Please complete the Summer Session Enrollment Form to request that your child attend.
